New Emerson Rangemaster Sheepdog Knife
Ernest Emerson has allied with noted author, speaker, and soldier Lt. Col. Dave Grossman to produce Emerson’s first flipper knife that will be the official blade for Grossman’s company, Sheepdog Knife and Gun. The knife is called the Rangemaster Sheepdog and it is one very nice piece of sharpened goodness. The Rangemaster Sheepdog has a 3.5 inch blade of 154 CM stainless steel, Rockwell Hardened to 57-59 on the C scale. Gerber Strongarm Fixed Blade Knife
Gerber Legendary Blades as offered fixed blade knives for military use going way back to their 1966 Mark II fighter of Vietnam fame. Focusing on the needs of the soldier in real time, Gerber’s new Strongarm knife is Made in the USA for today’s modern warriors. This knife at SHOT Show barked SWAT use as well. New COAST Products Rapid Response Knife Video Review
This is a video review of the COAST Products Rapid Response Folding Knife. The knife makes me smile for several reasons. First, it is very well made. The production values are high and the knife has a quality feel. It is inexpensive. Not cheap, inexpensive. The knife in the video, which is the 3.9″ 5Cr15MoV satin-finished blade can be purchased for only $41.49 (three dollars more for a black coated blade). Lastly, the knife performs well. COAST Products, which began as COAST Cutlery, has been a family-owned Oregon business since 1919.
