Through this portal passed steel junkies from all over the world.<\/p><\/div>\n

I arrived home from BLADE Show 2015 last night.\u00a0 My trip was on a nomad’s budget, so I drove up, spent one night, then drove right back.\u00a0 I was able to attend the show floor on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.\u00a0 It was rushed.\u00a0 There were 300 booths and nearly 700 tables of good things to see.\u00a0 Because of my abbreviated stay, I missed much, but I met some cool folks and saw some of the newest knives.\u00a0 In the next few weeks, I will be posting articles on what I learned, so keep TBF dialed in.<\/p>\n

Friday, I collected my Media Pass at Will Call and marched right into the show.\u00a0 After several hours, I was bushed and ready for dinner, my annual trip to the Big Chow Grill for stir-fry.\u00a0 On Saturday, the line to get in at 0900 hrs. snaked through the Cobb Galleria Center for a hundred yards.\u00a0 I waited patiently until it died down twenty minutes later.\u00a0 Once inside, I realized my pants pocket was devoid of its usual cutting edge, so I fixed that situation right in the venue.\u00a0 Unlike SHOT Show, things are for sale at BLADE.<\/p>\n

The whole trip happened in the blink of the eye, but it was well worth the look.\u00a0 I have always had a warm little forge in my heart for blades of all kinds.\u00a0 It has been great fun to attend BLADE Show for the last three years and I foresee making this pilgrimage for many more to come.<\/p>\n
