Co.\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ruger.com\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Sturm, Ruger &amp; Co.<\/a> has been busy this year in the revolver department.\u00a0 At January&#8217;s SHOT Show, we got to shoot the LCRx, an external hammer version of their polymer\/aluminum wheelgun.\u00a0 Next came the <a title=\"LCR in 9mm\" href=\"http:\/\/thinblueflorida.com\/?p=8284\" target=\"_blank\">9mm moon-clipped LCR model<\/a> introduced in October.\u00a0 Out of nowhere, Ruger just announced its <a title=\"LCRx in 3&quot; Barrel\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ruger.com\/news\/2014-11-24.html\" target=\"_blank\">new 3&#8243; barreled LCRx<\/a> in .38 Spl. +P.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The newest LCRx is the perfect revolver for backpacking, concealed carry, home defense, or just plinking,&#8221; said Chris Killoy, Ruger&#8217;s President and Chief Operating Officer.\u00a0 &#8220;The 3&#8243; barrel, adjustable sight, and modest weight create a great all-around gun.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I know Ruger is upscaling an existing platform, which will hold down the production costs, but I wish they had squeezed just <i>one<\/i> more .38 Special cartridge into the stainless steel cylinder!<\/p>\n<p>On the upshot, this is a really light<!--more--> 3&#8243;
