<\/a>Automobile Magazine recently published an article about the 1990-era Ford Mustang Special Service Police<\/a> packages that were sold to New York State Police, California Highway Patrol, Florida Highway Patrol, and other law enforcement agencies. My local sheriff had some and I remember them roaring past us in pursuits.<\/p>\n

My agency recently retained a 2012 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor, the final year of production, as a parade car, but it won’t seem vintage for many years to come.<\/p>\n

On I-95 about 9 months ago, I saw an FHP-marked 1990’s Mustang southbound. I did a double-take. It was pretty cool seeing that throwback cruiser heading down the Interstate. Good memories of a very special car.<\/p>\n
